Face full of dust after a crash in Rye’s race run.

Category 2 Men’s racer Rye Livingston set the tone for his race run early on in the weekend. He practiced with Jesse and found a super fast gap that seemed to shave off a lot of time. Unfortunately during his race run Sunday he hit a weird cross rut and for thrown from his bike. He got up as quick as possible and ended up in 9th place with a time of 2:26:48. He was pretty disappointed but gave it his all with a checkers or wreckers attitude!

Professional Men’s racer Corey Craig showed up to Silver Mountain on Friday night and prepared himself for the brutal course. With new tires on his Transition TR500 he made his way through qualifying landing him in 6th place. On Sunday Corey kept his pace but in┬áthe wooded section took a spill creating a plume of dust! Corey finished the race and is in good spirits┬áready to take on the final race at Steven’s Pass.

Through the dust, smoke and rough terrain all the Hi-5 Bikes Team members had an amazing time and look forward to the final NW Cup series stop at Stevens Pass Bike Park on September 13th.
